Analysis of the metabolism of microbial organisms.
Inria, MICROCOSME Team
This work has been done in the HyLife-CETP project which assess teh microbial risk on hydrogen storage.
Hydrogen storage is a potential solution to keep electricity generated by renewable source during low demand period.
But there are microbial organisms living in underground reservoris that could consume hydrogen. Different projects try to estiamte the potential impact of these organisms.
The HyLife-CETP project has seqeunced tens of reservoirs to identify the microbial communities living there.
For this project, i continued the development of EsMeCaTa (to get consensus proteomes from microbial communities) and develop a new tool to identify their impact on biogeochemical cycles and especially on hydrogen.
